How it works
There is no tek.
That is the point.
Tek is this hobby's word for procedure — the sequence of steps you are normally expected to carry out yourself, correctly, in the right order, without contaminating anything. The No-Tek Set And Forget Bag has all of that done already. What follows is genuinely everything that is left.
Open the box
Stand the bag upright with the filter patch clear of anything pressing on it. Do not open the bag, do not cut it, do not wipe it down. It arrived finished.
Choose a shelf
Indoors, ordinary room temperature, out of direct sunlight. Somewhere you walk past. It does not need a tent, a cupboard, a humidifier or a heat mat, and it does not need to be hidden away in the dark.
Leave it alone
No misting, no fanning, no opening, no checking, no adjusting, no logging. Warmer rooms move faster and cooler rooms move slower, and neither is something you need to correct.
The list nobody else prints
What you are not doing.
Every one of these is a normal step somewhere else. All of them happen before the bag is sealed, under conditions you do not have at home.
No mixing
Nothing to weigh out, hydrate or combine.
No sterilising
No pressure cooker, no long boil, no timing it.
No sterile work
No still air box, no flow hood, no gloves.
No injecting
The port has already been used. It is not yours to touch.
No monitoring
No thermometer, no hygrometer, no daily log.
No misting
The bag manages its own air through the patch.
No fanning
There is no exchange schedule for you to keep.
No opening
Sealed on arrival, and it stays that way.
Timing
It takes as long as your room says.
We do not print a countdown, because a countdown would be a guess about your house. A warm room moves quicker and a cool one takes its time. The important part is that the waiting is passive — there is no stage during it where you are meant to step in.
If you find yourself wondering whether you should be doing something: you should not. That is the product functioning exactly as sold.
