Once unpacked, simply place your sealed bag in a cozy spot out of direct sunlight and leave it alone. There is no soil to mess with, no expensive gear to set up, and no daily maintenance required. The sterile filter-patch bag maintains the perfect environment on its own, letting the mycelium work its magic until fresh, mature mushrooms sprout up ready for harvest.
Open the box
Stand the bag upright with the filter patch clear of anything pressing on it. Do not open or cut the bag. It arrives colonized.
Choose a spot
Indoors, room temperature, and out of direct sunlight. It does not need a tent, humidifier, a heat mat, or any other equipment and it does not need to be hidden away in the dark.
Leave it alone
Set it out of direct sunlight and let the bag do all the work. The sterile filter patch handles breathing and humidity automatically so there is no need to open or move it until harvest.

From the moment your package arrives, the process moves quickly with virtually no waiting. Because your block arrives fully colonized and ready to fruit, you can expect to see initial growth pins forming within 10 days of receiving the bag. Once those first pins appear, the mushrooms approximately double in size daily until they are ready to harvest.
After your first harvest, keep the bag in place and it will naturally produce a second and often third flush every couple weeks.
